Kanya Rattanapetch

Kanya Rattanapetch, also known as Tarn or Loogtarn, is a Thai model and actress. She was 13 or 14 years old when she got her big acting break by appearing in the 2005 horror film "Scared" (Rab Nong Sayong Kwan) as Tarn. Aside from acting, she was also active in the modeling scene. She did two more films "Mor.8" in 2006 and "Sick Nurses" in 2007. Ms. Rattanapetch rose into prominence when she played the martyr girl named 'Ying' in the highly-acclaimed "Love of Siam" (Rak Haeng Sayam).

The year after she started getting supporting roles for lakorns from three major TV stations in Thailand, she was casted in the channel 5 sitcom "Ruk Rhythm." After that show, she was casted in the channel 3 lakorn "Ruk Sorn Kaen," and later landed the role of Noodee in a 2009 lakorn "Mea Luang" in channel 7. She went back to channel 3 for "Sapai Glai Peun Tiang," which is currently airing in Thailand. She will be back in channel 7 for a lead role in "Coke E-Ling Hansa."

In her performance in the Love of Siam, she was chosen to be WAN's leading lady for the music video of his single "Safe Distance." Her chemistry with WAN has helped the music video topped the charts in Thailand. It was so successful that another music video was made for the next single "What the Rest." The music video follows the story from the 1st video, yet ended on a sad note. She was also featured in two other music videos from the Thai band "AM Fine," where she is an rocker-emo who fell in love with a guy who loves someone else.

In 2008, she made another movie "4 Romance" alongside her fellow cast in the Love of Siam, Mario Maurer and Witwisit Hiranyawongkul.
